This is a picture of Our Lady of Refuge Church in Roma Tx. I decided to put
this picture on my web page because its the church i attend on sundays. Therefore its the church my whole family attends.
This is the church I did my first communion and the one where I had my senior mass as well.
This building has been there quite some time back in 1997 I used to atted
there to prepare myself for my first communion. Now its used for special events like bingos, jamaicas etc.
Manuel Guerra Store- german Architect Heinrich Portscheller (1840-1915) Built this modified classic Revival structure
for manuel Guerra (1856-1915) In 1884. Early Local example of stand-struck, Handcast brick construction once used as residence
and store it remains in Guerra family. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark-1973.
As you all may know Miguel Aleman Tamaulipas is right across the border from Roma Tx. This is a picture of the international
bridge leads people to Mx. from Roma.
